Time for New Rotors

Let me start by saying that I do not want to purchase a big brake kit...I am not autocrossing the X and although I think they look nice through the 87's I think they are a waste of $$$. That being said I have heard mixed reviews about the Brembo replacements...are there any good replacement slotted or drilled rotors out there worth buying that won't crack or warp with normal everyday hard driving? Anyone have any experience with Zimmerman or EBC?

Bavarian Autosport has cross drilled rotors for the X5. I have no experience with them though as my car is still under warranty.

I have ordered all of my brake materials from Dave Zeckhausen (for my 540i/6, my old 944, and for my new-to-me 3.0 X5) he always has the best advice, excellent pricing and fast shipping. I just ordered Centric Premium standard rotors and Axxis Deluxe Plus pads from him - should be at home when I get there. I've also referred many friends I know to him and they've all been quite satisfied.

I bought some Ate slotted rotors and they warped, so stay away from them.

Thanks for the advice guys. Dave is definitely very knowledgeable I have bought pads from him in the past but I didn't think he sold rotors for the 4.6is. I think I am going to order the Centrics from him and then possibly buy some VHT high temp brake paint to repaint my hubs and calipers. I think I will wait until the Spring to do the work and then post pics.
