Can an X5 be Towed behind an RV?

Hello All,

I'm new to this informative forum.

I'd like to know if an X5 can be towed (all wheels down) behind a Motorhome without damaging the X5 transmission?

Might there be a difference between towing an X5 3.0i with a manual 5 speed vs. the automatic transmission?
