Hello...New to the forum

Hi there.
We just bought a 2005 X5 3.0i, Highland Green with tan interior this past weekend.
It has the following:
30,000 miles, Sports Package, Premium Package, Rear Climate Package, Cold Weather Package, Navigation system, Premium Sound with DSP, Auto trans, Park Distance Control and Xenons. Everything but a frikken CD player/changer!!!
And it has the 100,000 BMW Maintenance warranty.

I paid 34,500. What do you think of the price given the options
We love the car..its primarily for my wife. The color is awesome, almost like a dark grey/green, and the interior looks awesome.

looking forward to being on this site.

thanks.
Asem

Welcome and about the cd changer...

Asem,
Welcome and I know what you mean my 2006 came with same sound setup (premium, dsp) and no CD changer. You have to wonder what BMW is thinking, we're going to use to DSP to listen to radio!

Anyway before you put in a CD changer you might consider an iPod hook up (a lot more music than changer can hold), you can get an Ipod cheap these days and the folks over at EAS (http://www.europeanautosource.com/) have all the stuff you need to integrate the iPod into the sound system.

Cheers
