Individual key/memory seat/mirrors not programmed or not working?
My '01540 used to do this and I can't believe that I have to hit the button each time I wish the seat and mirrors to change. |

They also charged me $199 to fix a barely curbed rim. I'm all about convenience for having them do it and marking it up say 20%, but I KNOW that curbed rim repair is on the order of $75. I won't do that again. |

that's what I thought. I purchased the vehicle at a different dealership, then went to another to get an oil leak fixed under warranty. I was surprised that they charged me for the key settings as I can't imagine that taking anything more than 10mins?

Programming keys is NOT a warranty item, but a "convenience" one. The dealer is only obligated to provide you with ONE freebie, if you bought the car from them. Whether a dealer would charge you for the programming after that depends all on the particular dealer, so work up a good relationship with yours and may be they will forgo the ~$50 programming fee.
