Question Help with Bluetooth!

Hi, I just installed the latest 329 ULF module , antenna and eject box in my '04 Assist equipped X5 from Bimmernav. Although everything appears to be connected correctly, I can't get the system in to pairing mode? I've followed the instructions that came with the kit, hold down pairing button for 2 secs, turn key to pos 1, continue to hold pairing button for 2-3 more secs then release and should display Bluetooth Pairing? It just continues to say "Activiate Phone?" The pairing button itself seems to work as the system goes in to voice recognition mode if I press it when the key is already on. I also have NAV and now see an option called CODE which I don't recall before? All other functions seem fine. Any thoughts? Thanks

Edit: After disconnecting/reconnecting the 56 pin connector, it's now working. I also realized the CODE option on the Settings Menu is generally grayed out when the ignition is on. I never realized it before as I don't think I've ever looked at the menu with the key in the first position. Thanks

Hi mate...hope this will help you:
1. hold the button (not on the wheel. on the pairing button which supplied with set with BT kit) ) for more time, for example 8 sec on "Off" position and 10 sec "On" in key position 1.
2. The CODE request should appear on the mobile phone, and this CODE you can find as a sticker on module.

Let me know results...

It's working now!

Thanks DAVUD for your response! As it turns out, I disconnected/reconnected the 56pin connecter and then tried it again and it worked! I guess it just needed to be reset.

Thanks again.

The voice recognition works perfectly. I have a Moto KRAZR K1M from Verizon. It dials by name, number and also works great with the Navigation system. Remember, it doesn't dial the numbers in your phone's contact listing. You have to manually store the name and number in the voice recognition memory of the Module.

I'd recommend contacting Bimmernav if you're having any difficulty as they were very helpful to me.

Best of luck.
