Disable seat belt warning chime (m)

I did a search but couldn't find any solid info. It's not that we don't wear our seat belts. My wife simply puts her purse or a book on the passanger seat and the warning starts chiming away.

Has anyone come up with a way to disable just the passanger side warning. I don't want to disable the bell because of the front PDC and other warnings. There must be a way to "trick" the buckle into thinking it's engaged.

Get a buckle out of a bone yard and put it in the receiver for that side.

I'm pretty sure theres a wire in your latch that has to be grounded out.
Its like that on most other cars.

To find it move your seat all the way forward and hop in the back seat, pull the seatbelt cover up where it meets the carpet near the center console and test the wires with the seat belt in and out.

Chime? My 03 dosen't have that. I would say never turn it off, it's actually a good safety feature.
