have you considered trying it yourself? the valve covers on the v8 x5s are pretty easy to get to.

BimmerDude, the valve cover is a simple repair, but working in this 0 deg weather sucks unless you've got a heated garage (ask me how I know). How much labor are they charging you?
If you decide not to do it yourself, it's simple enough that a trusted mechanic should be able to handle no problem. |
