I have the smallest chip ever on my windshield

cause my dumbass "friend" decided it'd be funny to throw coins at my car. It's really small but now that i know i have it i can't stop looking at it. It's about the size of any small pebble hitting the windshield. Do you think i should get it repaired. I mean i love my x and i always take care of it. What would a shop charge to fix something so small?

Less than the size of a quarter, around $65.00 here. Cannot be in line of site.

They sell small kits at auto stores where you can fix the appearance of the chip, and it helps to keep it from cracking. I had a small chip on my winshield and used one of these kits and it makes a huge difference. They cost about ten dollars or so.

I know, my cameras with my brother and he's out of state right now though. It is a really small chip though, and i'm probably making it seem like it's huge or something, it's not though. But it's the fact that now when i drive, i can't help but look at it and it's clearly visable from the inside.

It is really worth having it fixed, in freeze thaw cycles water can crack the whole windshield. I waited one week to get mine looked after and th whole thing cracked.

The insurance policy covered mine but my latest policy raised the deductible from $50 to $500
