Angry 4.8is bumper on a 4.4i

Hello,

Okay so I got my wheel arches installed and they messed up and cut my bumper and one of the wheel arches. My local stealership agreed to pay for my bumper, paint and new wheel arch. They were actually pretty cool about it. I recomended that they buy the 4.8is bumper and I would pay the difference as I believed that they arches come pre-installed on the 4.8is bumper and they would not have to cut, risking cutting the bumper in the wrong place again.

This is what I was told:

"The 4.8is bumper won't fit on the 4.4i" <-- I call BS
"The wheel arches aren't pre-installed on the 4.8is bumper" <-- After the first lie again, I call BS.

Is there anybody else that can tell me differently?

Thanks in advance.

Real OEM for 2005 4.8 rear bumper:

They sure seem damn similar from the schematics....

The rear bumper will fit but the arches or lower spoiler will not be attached to the main bumper.

I already have the Arch retrofit kit installed, both front and rear. Question is can I just install piece 4 from this page? http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...22&hg=51&fg=15

Yes! You simply just align the lower spoiler into the rear bumper and screw it in place.

Check out this install guide! Scroll down to see how to install the lower spoiler...
