I just got the Remus exhust put on my 4.4 yesterday. Really nice look and not too overbearing sound wise. Sounds a bit more throaty/sporty. Direct bolt on without any welding needed. My local Independant shop took about 2hrs total to do including cleanup. Overall nice mod at about 1/2 the cost of Dinan's free flow exhaust. I've even noticed about 1.5 mpg increase too since I did it...or at least that's what the computer is lying to me!

I'm torn between the Supersprint and Eisenmann Race exhaust. Is the Supersprint Carb friendly?

i have the eisenmann race on the 4.8...........it is incredible!! for me though, it was not direct bolt on, required cutting welding etc... for the 4.4 though, it may be, you will have to check on it.

Although your current location has some mother of god exhaust in the background of that pic, with that much smoke.

WOW!!! Whatever exhaust you put on, I'd make up somekind of exhaust cover to miminize the sand accumulation (and then stick a post-it on the radio/nav to remind you to remove them before starting the car) - looks like repainting could be a yearly thing (as well as the micron filters)

ps I've got the Dinan S2 upgrade which includes the exhaust - awesome sound, great performance, but setup does lose you mileage - I did Dinan because I did not know what else was out there, plus I did not have too many options given my location in Idaho (I'm not a DIY guy)

The sand is just a temp thing while I am "fighting the bad guys."

Actually live in the corn state.

The einsmann sounds great I am pretty sure that is what I am getting for my 4.6 primarily because thier tips look just like the 4.6is tips and I really like the ovals

I have used Quicksilver exausts before on euro projects and they are sweet as hell they have a 4.4i fitment you should be able to e-mail them for sound clips thier exausts are all stainless (including the sintered sound material inside the canisters) also come with a 25year warentee against rust and corrosion and once you put 200 or so miles on them thier sound on V8 engines smooths out and it is a great deep tone.

I have the Remus Sport exhausts on my 2003 4.4 and don't notice much in the way of lost mileage. Hp I don't know as I haven't dyno'd it but they claim up to 10hp. Sound it very nice...not too loud. Smooth and velvety. See attached pics. Sorry so dirty....we've had alot of snow and ice in the 2 weeks since I've got it!
