AE headlight replacement

I saw these and wondered if anyone had an opinion.. I would like a full replacement for my light. Not a bake and attach setup. These are full replacements. At least that is what im being told..Any thoughts??

Do you have xenon's? Because those are not.

I have an 00' with the crappy stock halogens. I want to replace the whole setup. Would it be worth it to get these and add the xenons?

Don't know if you could retrofit xenons to those or not. It is possible to do it to your halogens, have not done it myself, but others here have.

Anyway, I guess that it is up to you if you want to spend the $$ on these. Adding AE's to your current light is not that hard and a lot cheaper.

You can buy brighter, "hyperwhite" halogen bulbs. In response to the question of using HID bulbs in the ebay kits, I was told by one ebay seller that they did not recommend putting that type of bulb in their setup. It wasn't your specific seller you've found, but it looks like the exact same product. Hope that helps.

My thinking was that my old lights are not AE. I could get the AE's and new bulbs. for $300 or so. But this setup appears to be the newer lights. much better looking. AE's on. no need to bake.
Sorry for all of the suestions, but i am a novice when it comes to these lights..

No worries on the questions, I ask tons myself. I'm currently in the process of trying to upgrade from Halogens to HID and I'm going to go the OEM route and purchase a set of old used headlight enclosures and forgo the AEs (might bake and add the AEs later)

The setup you're looking at is a projector based setup (similar to what is used in the HID setup), but uses halogen bulbs. You are going to end up with the same "color" light out of your headlights as your halogens now, but you will gain the look of the projector.

There have been many threads on these particular lights from ebay, but no one has yet to purchase and install them. The group would love for someone to do it and post some pictures, I'm sure.

So, if i were to get them and wanted the brighter lights. What would be the easiest route?
And if i got them, i would definitely take pics..
