I'm not complaining about price, I'm saying that even though I bought cars that are cheaper than what my X5 was, I was treated much better.

awww...sorry to hear you had a not as good an experience from your BMW dealership...it really depends on each individual lot and salesman...but you knew that ...at least complimentary service is nice

I had a 2002 ML430, I put 30k on it and did not have one problem. The only reason I got rid of it was I need a bigger SUV at that point in time.

you wanted a bigger suv and got an X?

anyway...the ml is reliable...somewhat...but it isn't as refined as the X...as least that's what i'm told...

No, I had a 04 Ford diesel Excursion for awhile. Now there was a beast, 20+ mpg.

V10? one tried to run me over once those things are huge...

It was a 6.0 turbo diesel. Believe me when I tell you that nobody ever cut me off in that thing.

It is such a pity that MB reliability went so low. Mercedes used to be known as some of the most reliable cars ever. When I was a kid it was not rare to see Mercedes diesel Taxis in Paris passed the 1 million kms!
