Weird Happenings on the Nav Screen - 2001 X5

I have just noticed that the entire unit that holds the NAV screen and all of the controls for the stereo and onboard computer is loose. It is only loose to the point that you notice it if you press on it. It is not that obvious. I noticed it was different when I picked it up at the dealership after my service on Saturday. I have no idea why it would all of a sudden be loose. All I had done was a complete oil service, belts changed, rear door lock repaired, power steering hose and drivers side window fixed. I don't know why any of these items would require anything to be done on the dash but I am not that familiar with the processes for the X5 during service.

A few nights ago when I was trying to change the screen it started to flash between the stereo information and the onboard computer. I turned it off and turned it back on and it seemed fine. However, this morning I tried to switch to a different CD and the buttons wouldn't work. I tried a variety of buttons and none would work until I pressed really hard on the on off button, which wouldn't work either, forcing it back into place on the dash and finally it turned off and when I turned it back on it seemed to be ok. Also, when I pushed on the buttons when I was trying to get it to turn off it started doing the flashing thing again.

Anyone else have anything like this happen?

Thanks,

Tracy
