I was just wondering if Dice controls the video section of the ipod, so that I could control the ipod and also use the dietz to display the video.

The iLink has a folder structure for your files to be placed into so that different file formats can be used, rather than being restricted to an Apple-only format. The DICE is intended for audio-only applications, it does not perform well in Multimedia applications such as this.
