Mods for 4.8is??

Good morning...

Does anybody knows what modification we can get for the 4.8is??

I know that has tons of mods for Cayenne turbo, so why is so difficult to get performance parts for our 4.8is??

Other than that I'm very happy with this vehicle (4.8is) but just want a little more power on the engine.

Thanks for response!!

Not much I have seen on the performance mods for 4.8is. You can try www.ultimateX5.com . They have exhaust and silencer mods.

Check out Kelleners Sport. They have some tuning programs for 4.8is.

I was talking to a guy at MB Sugar Land...he mentioned one of the fastest cars he's driven was a 4.8 with two superchargers...insane.

How would that work? Superchargers are driven off of a belt on the crank...doesn't seem to be feasible to have two of them; it'd be like having two alternators. Course, I've been wrong before, just ask my wife!

It is possible to have two superchargers. It's almost worthless though. Blitz makes a setup for the SC430 with dual superchargers. Absolutley a waste of money.

Anuj, a lot of the guys at dealerships are lying SOB's. The smart ones are the ones you really never do get to see (No offense if you're one of the smart ones..)
