Hi all,

Does the dice control the ipod video too?
So can you use the dice controls to bring up the video part of the ipod?

thanks

I think what you want is this:

As for the actual DICE ipod link, I guess you could play the audio from ipod movies and switch between videos by they radio. I havent tried that yet but will on my way home today.

gl!

I guess there is only one dice.
But they also have a cradle now that has a video output.

I guess that hooks into the regular dice unit?

that one has a 3.5mm composite video output. so if you have something with a rca input, you can use that cradle to transfer video

guess what I want to do is to know if I can use the dice along with the dietz so that I can control the ipod and watch the movies on nav screen.

instead of using the ilink L2.

Actually with the dice (at least for audio) you can switch between playlists and albums as well as tracks. I think with the IceLink you can switch between artists as well. So in theory, if you were somehow using a dice and playing video on the nav, I guess you could switch videos through the radio controls. Again this is in theory.

yes, that is true. you are able to switch between track, playlist, album, and chapter with disc 1, 2, 3, and 4, respectively. but to do that, all the songs must be in the same playlist. i think if you have a video in that playlist, it will only play the audio. for example, when you're regularly listening to your ipod of an album with a video, the video doesn't play, but the audio does. so the video is being treated as an audio file
