air suspension button???

Hello!!
According to my last post, finally I will go over the X5 11/2003, fully loaded with extras! but the dealer insist that the car has as an extra air suspension,

I went to a BMW specialist engineer and his computer showed in the field of air suspenion off,

In the back of the car in the space where the extra tire is located there is the mechanism of the air suspenion and pumps (that the specilist told me are)

I wonder why the computer doesnt show the air suspension and also I would like to know how it can be seen in the car , is there any button?

with the rear air suspension, there is an "air tank" supporting the rear spare tire, under the spare tire. also there's an indicator light in the middle of the instrument cluster.

for the full air suspension, there're two switches and three lights directly right of the light control switches

I have a 4.6is and that has the pump and air tank under the spare wheel but no switch on the dash board is it a different air suspension system when there is a switch.

yes 4.6 does not have controls for it's air suspension

yes. if it's a 4.6, there's a auto rear air suspension

Is there a chance for this car 30i Sport Package to be ordered with the 46i auto air suspension?
If yes how is shown or checked if the computer doenst show it?

Also I would like to ask how you can maintain this system to work properly, and in a case of failure how much does it cost to be replaced

I heard enormous amount of $ 15000 is that true?

there's an indicator that looks like an outline of a car with an up and a down arrow in the middle in the instrument cluster

don't know how much it would cost to be replaced, but have not heard of any problems with the air compressor...
