What an excellent list...after hearing about people stranded in their cars (for days at a time) I now have many of those things too. Always better to have them, even if you never are going to use it. I would add:
- Keep a cell phone on youself - Seatbelt cutter/window breaker device - Give people at home a note with your driving route. - jump cables - small bottle of windshield washer fluid
