HID kit from Xtralights

Hi all! I am thinking of buying a set of HID kit to upgrade my X5's halogen low beam lights. I have read the information of Xetronic Digital HID kit (http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp?...OD&ProdID=1342) and I am very interesting about this product. Just want to ask you experts here that: 1) is the product in good quality? 2) in the website, they say they have an option to disable the fault alert warning system (http://www.xtralights.com/computerwarning.htm), is it true and does it work well to eliminate the onboard computer's alert?

Thanks for any input!!!!!!!

Hahaha ... digital..... that's funny. They think putting word "DIGITAL" make people buy those kits better.
  • I can assure you that most xenon kits are made in Taiwan or China. Which doesn’t mean they won’t work, but it’s not German quality. Unfortunately Philips or Hella don’t make xenon kits, only OEM xenon systems.
  • Price is too high you can get same Taiwan quality kits much cheaper on eBay.
  • Normally, regular 35W HID systems consume 42W compare to 55 watts that the halogen bulb uses, so you will need to increase wattage to disable on-board warning massage.

Thanks a lot for your reply! May I ask how to increase wattage to disable OBC warning system? Thanks!
