ya i agree the hamann e36 m3 style mirrors look way to small on the X.

But the Koneigdeser(sp?) look really good even though the fitment close up looks funky, but its okay... I think i talked to them like a year ago bout the mirrors, and they wanted me to send my mirrors in so they can fabricate my base onto their mirrors, and i wasnt down to have a mirror-less car.

so hopefully now they actually have mirrors to ship out

Not sure if the Konigseder comes with auto-folding. You may lose that functionality.

id deff want the aftermarket mirrors, if they look good and fit the fitment of the car, then why not, each to his own.

I had e36 m3 mirrors on my e46 330xi and they completely changed the look of the car, it just makes the car look more sporty, and no more elephant ears in my opinion

I'm with you. Mirrors totally change the look of a car. But I don't want to spend a grand on a set of mirrors, that still need to painted too.
