REPLACED ALTERNATOR CAR WONT START?!

Hey guys, any experts out there that have been through this please feel free to post.

My battery died wouldnt take a jump so I bought a new one at SAMS CLUB same group size as BMW battery, it was 3yrs old so about time cost $89 94R Energizer

3 days later car died again, tested the alternator that went bad bushings were worn out. Took it out myself, that was a project but Ill be happy to share some tips for doing it. Got the 120 amp VALEO rebuilt tested fine good as new.

So I installed the alternator made sure the battery was fresh and cranked it up oh yeah I replaced the belts as well since I had it all off, everything plugged in okay, cranked it up and it started the first time and sputtered for about 5min then just stalled out. Now it will not even turn on, it just turns over like theres no gas in the engine or fuel is not making it to the cylinders, the battery is still cranking no problem, I thought the security fuel cut off was engaged so I used both car keys to make sure it recognized the key, I unplulgged the positive terminal from battery and turned ignition as well, that didnt help. I dont know what else it could be other than maybe the fuel pump but it was fine before so why would it fail all of a sudden when my alternator and battery went.

anything I might be overlooking to get her running, so far the engine has been pristine running great have 146K miles on her.

Thank you for any help, about to throw in the towel and have it towed to a shop. I am pretty good at fixing most things on this car but I am truly stuck!!!
