Can you make a little walk through during set-up. with pictures!
I dont think I am ready to pull a facelift -- it costs a major ROUBLE to get new lamps. Plus, it not my car(wife's). I would install 35w kit with a 3500-4200k color for better vision in the rain into stock halogen lamp. and if it doesn't work out -- MZ3 is in for a treat of her life.

I'm not done yet (busy at college right now). But after completion I will definitely post some pictures with instructions. Actually for your setup you need to purchase H7 HID kit with some heavy-duty wires and relays (if you want them) and power ballasts through a relay from the battery to HID ballasts to remove load from X's harness. That's it.
Also 3500K HIDs are yellowish and really really rare, mostly HID kits are 4300, 4800K or 6000K which look white/blue.

Sedoy, I am interested about the relay. What kind of relay (between the ballast and the battery) are you using? Can you post a pic of it? I agree that playing safer is better.

Here is complete diagram for you, very easy to install. You can buy regular or fuse integrated relays online as well as harness if longer than 10 cm go with 10 mm2 cross dia, as stated.
