door speakers

anyone have suggestions, i want replace my door speakers, and i have a aftermarket cd player running 50 watts or somethin like that and got a alpine v12 amp and alpine type x sub all new, but the door speakers not clear or the bass to much but seems like its just the mids i need to change.

I wanted to know if i could get away with just changing the front and back door speakers without using another amp, and what type of door speakers are good without spending mega dough, already done that too much for the truck.

Do a search and you'll find a lot of info on speaker replacement. Bavarian Streetwerks is a vendor here and offers a plug and play upgrade for the speakers. I'm assuming you have the stock amp running your door speakers. Not sure how it well it will work with your aftermarket cd player's amp.

The stock speakers in the X5 are cheap. Order the Stage 1 speaker replacement from
