Transmission

So I have been experiencing some rough shifting and knowing the transmissions are a little problematic I took it into the dealer (it did not hurt they are handing out some pretty good loaners)

Anyway they said they are going to change out the transmission wiring harness.. I asked them what was physically wrong since I am assuming it is just a wiring harness. Are the cables charred, worn is some fashion? Anyway I have not received an answer.

Guess the question is, is the transmission wiring harness more then just a bundle of wires? Is there something else that could go wrong??

You are right in being skeptical. That really doesn't sounds like the right diagnosis. How many thousand miles on your vehicle?h

Check the engine electronics box for moisture. Right hand side under the hood @ the base of the windshield. The engine and trans control boxes live in there.
