get rid of the amber plastic in the headlight

Hi all! I just bought a pair of OEM xenon headlight with full amber corner from eBay (pre-facelifted version). I am thinking of taking away the amber plastic in the corner of the headlight to make it become clear corner. Does anyone know how to do it? Thanks!

Hope your new headlights are 2002 or older, or that amber corner isnt coming out without cutting your headlights open.

How to tell if it is 2002 or earlier? Do you mean I can open the headlight without baking it if it is made in 2002 or ealier? If that is the case, that will be so nice!!!

Do you know how to tell if it is 2002 or earlier? Which month of 2002? If it is made in 2002 or later, is there anyway to open it with out baking it? Thanks!

of course you can open it without baking it. Get a hammer and whack away. Kidding. the only way to open it is to bake it. only with the new glue Hella started using in 03 is impossible to crack. even with baking.
