Loose handling

Need advice. 2005 X5 4.4 Sport Pkg 27,500 mi with 19" Pirelli (with 1500 mi on them). Have noticed lately that steering is not as tight, tends to understeer. Any thought?

Check your tire pressures. The X5 does inherently understeer.

Thanks. Was a little low in front. Feels better, but still loose. Does not have the tight feel it had a few weeks back. Any other suggestions

Are you saying there's a bit of excessive freeplay (looseness) in the steering wheel? Lol sorry don't really know what it is, but it does occur occasionally in my X3. Not everyday, not all the time, just sometimes
