Love my E53 and will keep it for a while. Probably keep my wife's E46 forever. It might just be the perfect car.

I'm hoping for another 2 to 3 years or 36K more. I have 37K on my 2001. I like it! And I'd love a E70 but 1st year of cars I never buy and the cost! But I like the E70 so I see myself in one in the future.

Your current X is only a second year car, bugs weren't fixed (for the most part) on the E53 till 2003

Seeing E70 made me buy E53. The only way E70 can grow on me if it has 500+ ponies under the hood.

I was going to purchase an e70 but when I saw the pricing and got more info on it, I opted for a demo e53 and could have bought 1 1/2 e53's for the price of the e70 when all was said and done. After going back to the dealership and seeing the e70 in person, I am happy I chose the e53.

I think eventually I will purchase an e70 but hopefully they make some cosmetic upgrades to the front end and headlights. The inside looks nice minus the third row seating but that was not enough for me to purchase one will a lot of very nice e53's available.

Well it is nice to see that not everybody is abandoning their cherished rides. I guess we will also have all of the people in here that buy the E70 owners used E53s.
