Removing Headlights for Facelifted X5 (2006)
I have a X5 with headlight washer jets, and I tried removing my headlights to upgrade them to Xenon HID. But then I am not able to remove it as the headlight washer jets are coming in the way. This is a 2006 X5 so it does not have trim piece which you can remove and take the headlight out. So could someone point me to the right place to get information on how to remove my headlight? Thanks |

I had to drop my bumper.. Unless you can remove the washer without dropping the bumper, you'll have to do the same..... drop the bumper.

Dropping the Bumper
Do you know how to drop the bumper, is it easy or pretty tough to do? Are there any instructions on this. Please let me know.
Thanks |

It's kind of a pain in the ass. There are lots of hidden bolts. If you take your time and have someone else to help you hold the bumper you should be fine as long as you're good with these type of things.
