engine is totally dead after backup camera...
i started engine, and put R position~ camera worked perfect. after then, put ignition position1 and listened to FM while putting everything back in trunk. then, suddenly radio went off. i tried to turn on the radio but it didn;t work.. tried to start engine, it didn't work. gosh... when i turn to key position3, i can only here 3 successive clicking sounds then that's all(i guess it's igniting sound). everythings fine. zenons are on... at first time to try starting engine, i saw -40degree on panel... which means my X5's computer is totally out of mind... has anybody heared or experienced this kind of situation?? please, help me out. it'll be really appreciated... helpless Jun.

but low beam lights are on...
one funny thing is that.. eventhough i removed the key from ignition position3, the lights are still on..... and panels too..

one more thing, in postion 1and 2 i see the airbag fault signal on....

Sounds to me like you were listening to the radio while installing your camera.

dead battery for sure, nothing to do with camera.

Sounds to me like you may have shorted out the i-bus. Try disconnecting the camera connections you just made, disconnect the battery for a period of time and then reconnect the battery to see if the vehicle will start.

i used bmw recharger and it worked!!!! but in the beginning, DSC warning was on then... in..10 to 15min.. it just disappeared automatically. date, time,milage informations are totally gone. i drove it for 15 min and i'm still running the engine in front of my house. everything's fine but last problem. the button on the handle of trunk lid doesn't work. i have to push the trunk-open butten in front, or remote control key. i don't know what is going on..... god.. another problem comes up...
