Where to connect this wire to?

Hi all! I am doing an upgrade of HID headlight for my X. I found a wire which does not exist in my old halogen headlight. I guess it is a ground wire. Can anyone tell me where I should connect this wire to? Thanks for any input!

Its a ground that goes right under the light. Its that tray that the light sits on. If you look carefully, you can see this piece of square metal which is the ground, slide it in and attach everything and your set... GOOD LUCK

Thanks for help! I will take a look at the bottom of the headlight.

With OEM XENONS, there is a metal box (forgot what it is) that is right about dead center of the head lights, and sits right below the lights. There is a little hex nut there (metric of course) just ground it there. The head light damn near rests right on top of this box.

Though, Im not sure if this silver box is part of the OEM Xenons, and if you OEM halogen headlight had these boxes. If you dont have this box, and cant ground it there, see if you have something close you can use. If not you might have to extend that wire and ground somewhere else.

Id take some pics, but i dont feel like pulling a light out tonight.

Hope this helps.

Chad.

Dont look at the botom of your headlight. This silver box is already on the car. It will be under the headlight when you install the light, but its stays in the car when you remove the headlight. One box on each side.
