Key programming options

My X5 is finally ready to be picked up. I'll be getting it later today. I asked them to program the key to open all doors with one push of the button on the key fob. The SM asked me if I'd like any other programming changes, like daytime driving lights (nope) or whatever. Any other suggestions?

That's the only useful one, imo.

I have to say, daytime running lights saved my butt one day. I'm crusin down the street one gloomy day. I didn't turn the lights on which I should have because it was pretty dark out with all the clouds and stuff. This guy decided to be Mario Andretti and switched lanes so fast that if I didn't have the daytime lights he wouldn't have seen me and side swap me!!! So thank God I didn't take them off, I was plaining on it but now forget it... This is my experience, you never know. Good luck..

I ended up just going with the single push unlock. I don't like automatic daytime driving lights, but I almost always drive with them on, especially on roads with traffic traveling in both directions.

What is the garage door function? Can you really open your garage when you either press unlock or start the car?

That would be sweet.
