Hows that not exciting? If you have driven a CL 55...and I belive that is a facelift model...your looking @ 493 supercharged V8. The car is quick as hell. MBZ is a torque monster. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the CL- except the new body style. Now, it is a weird trade for an X5. But if you trade the ///M3...the car will be fast..but not as fun so keep that in mind! Good Luck.

Lots of lemon suits on MB's without many winners.

I think all the CL's are really nice, especially the new model.

I had a CL500 for about 2 months once. It was a great looking car that I had always admired from afar. Only once I bought it I realized it was really a two seat car. If you are only going to carry two people, buy it. If you need to carry 4 people, keep looking!

To address some of you guys' suggestions, yeah I was thinking maybe I'd trade the M3 instead. But guess what. I ran a carfax report against the CL's VIN and it's a Lemon buyback. I'm staying the hell away from that.

I see we have the same cars in our garage. For the first time in many years I feel my car mix is perfect; the X for the mountains, hauling stuff, and 4 adults, the M for the ocean, cruising, and 1 or 2 people.
