Question P0102 Error after Intake install!

Whats going on... installed a intake system, filter, and smaller breather filter on the pipe that came into the stock filter box. everything is connected well.. Was getting check engine lights but now, it comes and goes, i cleared it couple times wit the reader.. its def. something to do with the MAF, and the odb says something about air flow as well. Before the x kept shutting off if it came below 500rpm (in P) now atleast that doesnt happen... whats going onnnnnnnnnnn, could my filter be too small?

Did you have to "play" with the MAF sensor at all when installing the intake?

I didnt have to touch the MAF on mine at all!! and I never had any error codes or problems of any kind. Can you get some pics up? What size is your filter and are all pipes secure etc.

I cleaned it with compressed air... but it fell out of my hand (while it was attached) onto the engine cover, not that hard.. pretty lightly...

now when i drive i get a slight lag in the begging of acceleration......

The slight lag is most likely due to the MAF learning the new mass of air coming in.

So you think I should give it some time (how long) before I panic?

Well as regards the lag, I think it depends on the length of journey etc as the MAF needs to adjust to the new volume of air, but someone more experienced in that department will no doubt be able to help you better. I dont understand why you would be having any other problems unless you damaged the MAF when it was dropped? Also what size of filter etc are you using? Have you any pics of your install?
