Auxiliary Input HELP

Hi guys!

Is there anyone here in the LA/OC area that has done the auxiliary input mod? I already have the bmw kit but it's been sitting in my garage for months now because i'm the type of guy that needs to see something before I can do it myself.

Can anyone offer me their garage for an hour and watch and direct me as I do the labor of installing it myself. I just need someone there who's done it before to tell me if i'm doing it wrong or not.

I have 3.0 no nav business cd. I've downloaded and read the install instructions from this site over and over again but i just don't know how to take off the cd player, connect it to the back and lower the cable to drill a hole in the ashtray and put the plug there. It sounds so easy but i'm a visual type of guy.

Any takers out there? I'll bring a six pack, boba or whatever you desire.

Thanks in advance!
