Suspension Rough!

Hey guys.......my 2003 x5 3.0 suspension seems to be very rough. I feel almost every little thing on the road......any thoughts as to what is causing it? Is the suspension suppose to be rough like that?? i doubt it

ummm...i only know of the h&r and eibach springs...and they make the ride worst. if you have the sport package, you can switch them to the regular ride springs

with sport: clear turn signals (ie, not amber colored). black headliner (anthracite). three spoke steering wheel (resembles T). and 18" wheels.

i've only driven an X3 with the regular suspension, and it's pretty tender...i can imagine it's the same with the X5. it's still stiff enough to take on the bendies, but i don't think it can get any softer...

I often wonder why people who buy Bimmers well knowing that they will ride rough due to the suspension tuning characteristics for their handling capabilities, then turns around and complain how harsh they ride?

If you wanted a rolling, floaty sofa soft ride, you should have gotten the Lexus.

You should have your air suspension checked out. I have had problems with mine in the past. When the system is malfunctioning, you feel every little bump on the road.
