DA MOTORSPORT is a comany that is specialized in making custom BMW aftermarket supercharger/turbo kits and re-building the whole engine to output high power out of the engine. It is an aftermarket company like AC schnitzter, Hamann or any other aftermarket company, its just not that known because not a lot of people wanna have a bmw engine pushing 500-800hp out of already such a high strung engine.

So him going out to their official site and saying "thats my car" and photoshopping his name on the official car picture that they have is a wee bit skeptical in my opinion.

I like some of the interior mods, but I think the outside body work (huge front and rear piece) is hideous. As for the 510 hp, I think that's impressive, but it doesn't appear to have boosted performance noticeably more than the Dinan S3 kit, which gave me 450hp; the 0-60 time of 5.2 is virtually the same as mine. For my money, I think the Dinan package makes a lot more sense, puts less strain on the X5's engine (with its supercharger's lower pressure), and is more thoroughly researched/less of a "one off" system.

Their site does not specify if the HP is SAE net (the US standard) or BHP (foreign standard). BHP will always be higher than SAE net.

A dyno chart would tell the true story.
