Hello, new to this forum...

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and wanted to get my first post out of the way, so I could get on the burning questions I have about my X5. I am the original owner of a 2003 X5 4.4, steel grey (sport and premium package) and I love my car! Now on to the burning question... Can I lower my vehicle with H&R springs with a 22" rim package? I was assuming yes all this time, as I have the 22s on and have an appointment for the H&R springs on Monday. This is one of the three modifications I'm making that was supposed to be done this week. It's amazing how plans DON'T come together!

I'm not an expert on the H&R springs or lowering the vehicle, but :welcome: to X5world

Hey, looks like I found the info I needed after a short search through the forum. It appears that "WUZIN" is my role model for this modification. He has the Estoril Blue 4.4i with the 4.8 kit, 22s and springs. Looks acceptable... amazing actually!! Thanks WUZIN!!

Welcome aboard. Post some pics of your ride after you lower it.

You got it! Now that I feel more certain that I'm not making a mistake, the appointment for Monday is still on!! It will be done by BMW, but on the inside track... IYKWIM
