Use a flat screwdriver to snap away your old lens and install the new white. Be careful when you bend between the lens and the body.

thanks. i found out that you don't even need a screwdriver or any tools. you can push the old marker forward and it will pop out. Took 5 minutes to do both.

Now I just need to get clear taillights, and possibly clear headlights.

This seller got some tail light but I do only find the right tail light:

Search on http://www.ebay.com for "BMW x5 tail" to get more alt.

thanks. I've already had my eyes on those. I got my clear side markers for $10 on eBay. Hopefully, I can get a pair of clear taillights for $100.

Just a note to others that are looking too. Someone is selling a pair with a small chip in the top of one of the tail lights. Please don't buy it, unless I guess you fix it. I'm sure the rain/snow will damage it.

I just purchased a pair of rear clears from Clubber72 on e-bay. They are listed for 2000 to 2003 but they are 2004 and later. They work fine and look great. I highly recommend these guys.
