Waw! It is really glaring! I don't think it is a good idea to use HID bulbs in halogen headlight. It is not legal and you might be charged of illegal modification of lighting system of vehicle and you may have to take full resposibility for traffic accident caused by glaring light comes from your illegally modified HID headlight of your car.

In the fact, in eBay, OEM HID headlights are only sold at around $300 to $400 a pair, D2S bulbs are only sold at $100 a pair, OEM ballasts are only sold at $200 a pair, total cost for upgrade to OEM HID headlights is less than $700, maybe a bit expensive than just buying HID H7 replacement kit but you have pease of mind!

In my case, I bought a pair of OEM HID headlights with white corner at only $300, D2S bulbs at only $130, new OEM ballasts at $400 (the most expensive since it is brand new product), resistors at $100, total cost is around $900. Now they look really good after upgrade and they are legal!

Its not as bad as the picture shows. The glare bounces back to the camera lens. Its no different in my opinion to most stock HIDs. I wouldn't say its less annoying than the stock xenons in my E70 and 330. The focus of your headlight plays a major role on whether your lights will be blinding or not. But as I read in one of the threads, I've never heard anyone get pulled over due to a misaligned headlight.
Anyway I can't say anything about the quality since its still new but a lot of people on this forum has bought these kinds of lights and are fairly happy (Xtralights, Prolumens, etc).

I also order OEM xenons and will get it soon but its fun to test products like these.
