HID Kit adventure

i bought an HID kit for my stock halogens not knowing what to expect. I did not want to spend too much money on the OEM (I'm also maintaining 2 other BMs) so I bought this kit from www.futurevisionhid.com
I finally figured out how to install the bulb socket securely and looks really good. I'll post pics as soon as night falls. Anyway the best feature in this transaction is dealing with the person behind futurevision HID, Bruno Reimer for all my questions. Bruno is extremely helpful, he even called me to verbally walk me through problems and issues in install (He's based in Canada). If you decide with the more economical way (not necessarily the street legal way ), with excellent after sales service, this company is the way to go.

Pleasantly surprised. No error message. I was ready to invest in resistors. Thank God didn't need to.

I assume at least one of your other BMW has stock Xenon?

This will make a great comparision to aftermarket versus stock.

If there is really not that much of a difference I might just go the way you did and buy a kit from these guys.
Cant wait for your night review/pics.

I don't think you can compare it directly with the stock as my E70 and the 330 has projector self levelling hIDs. For one the light dispersion is different and the stocks HIDs are slightly whiter (I think its uses 4300K as against what I ordered w/c is 6000). But for the $ its not bad.

This company carries 4300K for a slightly higher price.

I know its brighter than my neighbor's A4 HIDs (no offense for audi owners-just my opinion)

Only thing is that I haven't owned it long enough to know long term quality. But it comes w/ a 1 year warranty and for the price it shouldn't be too painful in case you need to replace.

Last night when I did a test install I felt it was at least twice brighter, whiter and wider than my stock halogens

Did you put profectors in the headlights? If not, you might blind oncoming drivers. This is why I haven't put any HID kits in my 3 series. Although, the price of projectors are dropping.
