Mine's an 01, after install I only drove around 15mls so maybe it's too soon to tell for me to tell, I'll take it on the freeway today and see what happens.

I installed mine on my 2005 4.4 and all I really noticed was the growl. I tended to think the performance increase was an illusion based on the increased exhause note.

Mine now sits in the box in my garage.

I will leave mine on for now, it looks cool and I do like the growling sound.
If I were you I will put that thing of Ebay, you'll sell it for sure.

My service guy told me little things make little difference. He recemends CAI, exhaust and a chip and you will see and feel a difference.

Hal, good point gas is on the up. I'm saving for exhaust that will add a little power and stretch the gas a little. My X is also an 01

Give it time for the computer to reset. There isn't really an increase in gas mileage from what I can tell. I only get 14 miles to the gallon in town.
