PBR Deluxe and Axxis Deluxe are they the eactly the same product?

I currently have a squeal and lots of brake dust that I would like to eliminate.

1) PBR Deluxe and Axxis Deluxe are they exactly the same product? Made in the same factory?

2) I have 30000KMS or 19000Miles on my Rotor with 25% pad life do I need to replace the rotors and if so go with Brembos or Centric(stop tech)?

3) Is it worth it to change brake lines to the Stainless braided brake lines?

Opinions appreciated! Thanks for your help!

Best places to purchase these in Canada or the US?

I went with the axxis pads for the low dust, no squeak features.. low dust they are.... they squeak all the time & stock pads never did.....

1) yes they are the same.Im putting them on rear axle next week, but they seem to have good reviews on this site.

2) I am in your same boat with the rear rotors, and I am not replacing them, just the front ones which have a groove that I can feel. You will find mixed opinions on this though, I have done it on other bmw's with great success, if you catch it before your pads are ruining your rotors. Bmw rotors are known for being "soft"

3)As for the stainless brake lines, that is a personal choice, I have them on my 330ci but not on my X.

As mentioned above, they are the same. Buy them from here:

http://www.zeckhausen.com/ Great service, they shipped pads to Canada for me with no issues.

Unless you want to measure the thickness of the rotors and figure out if they are going to last through another set of pads, just replace them. Don't try to turn them. You are likely to be OK with leaving the rears for another set of pads. Given shipping costs, I would go with the OEM rotors. There is no performance improvement with an aftermarket rotor that is the same size. The OEM rotors have one of the better surface finishes to prevent rust on the hub. The Centric rotors look good to me, but I have never used them. I have used Raybestos VSM rotors on BMWs, but prefer the OEM.

You can change the brake lines, but think of it as a cosmetic upgrade. While there is a chance that you will get a firmer pedal, the marginal improvement is not likely to be worth it IMO.

I used buybrakes.com for the pads. free shipping if over a certain amount.

I got the ebc sport rotors from a different site that also had free shipping. They are slotted and dimpled and only were about $70 more than OEM rotors.

powerslot rotors on my 330 are only about $40 more than OEM, just find a site with free shipping.
