If you don't mind me asking, how much did they charge? Also, was the service done just a boot replacement (outer), or the entire CV joint?

Total of $366 and only the outer boot joint was replaced. 3 hours labor -- can actually be done in 2 hours or less but that's business and I can understand that. i've asked around and their location fit me perfectly.

The reason I asked is because I recently (last month) had the exact same procedure done to mine at an Annapolis shop. They charged $320, so i guess their price was fair. the Annapolis dealer wanted about $550 for that same job.

Exactly my point about stealership. I'm happy with the work they've done and the customer service and loaner car.
