Can I get an aux input?

My truck was built in 08/01 and has Nav. Does the aux input work on this build date?

No. Not unless you replace the factory radio head unit.

Aux input on MY03+.

To clarify, you don't need to change the screen unit that's in the dash. You need to replace the radio module that's located in the spare tire well with one from a MY2003 or newer. I did this on my 2001 X5 (9/00 build) and it works great.

I picked up a used radio module for about $200 and the wiring adaptor harnesses ran another $50.
