Good price for 2000 X5 4.4?
Would you guys pay 27K for this 2002 4.4 with only 27,500 miles? Is this X5 likely to have first year model issues?

Another option
Or would I be better off getting a CPO 2002 3.0 with 48,000 miles for around 30K?

IMO it is usually best not to buy a first year production car. But aside from that, it seems like a pretty good price. Kelly Blue Book shows it to be worth around $33K in good condition. Has this car been in any accidents? You should probably look it up in carfax.com. Another issue you might want to consider is warranty. a CPO will have warranty coverage so that if anything happens, the dealer will cover you. Good luck on what ever you decide.
