AE install or not?

I bought the AE kit on ebay and everytime i was about to start taking out my headlights there was something thats holding me back. I have a feeling I will mess up something and will be without headlights. Could someone please help me get over the hump to do this. You know for a person that is not a DYI type, removing and opening headlight and baking them in the oven sound pretty scary.

Removing headlights - how long? level of difficulty?
Baking them - any risk of burning them or somewhat melt them?
Reattaching - any new glue applied or just use the glue that already there?
Wiring is hard i guess. Whole bunch of things that would scare me off to just even thinking about installing them.

There are couple pitfalls which are not described in DYI since it was written for 5-series headlights.
