Reset button on compass mirror

Is it something large and noticeable that sticks out or something that needs a press of a small screwdriver in a hole? Just had the compass mirror put in at BMW dealership and they neglected to do the calibration so whichever way I am travelling, it says East!

Also, is there a way to get the temperature displayed on the mirror instead of the direction? Can it be easily changed back and forth while driving?

There is a tiny hole on the passenger's side of the bottom of the mirror. Insert a needle/toothpick/small screwdriver into the hole for a few seconds to press the adjustment knob until "C" appears. Drive around in a cricle until a direction appears. Insert the weapon of your choice into the tiny hole again, and set your zone by pressing the adjustment knob again. (I believe you're in Zone 4.)

Interesting - the instructions state that factory setting is Zone 8 - wonder why it is not Zone 9 since that is where Spartanburg, SC is??? hmmmmm....

Also, if you cross from one zone into another, will this "confuse" the mirror or is there a smal amount of adjustment time?? The reason I ask is that I was traveling yesterday and based on the map, I crossed from Zone 8 into Zone 9 and I could have sworn I was going south and the mirror said I was going North. Just curious if I just happened to look at it right after crossing zones.
