Wow, I love my dealer now...

I dont know if I should put this in the dealer section or not, cause it's just kind of a useless rant. Anyway... I e-mailed Dave about my lights and he said I just need to have my dealer flash the ECU so it will recognize the xenons. I called the dealer this morning. Even though this is urgent and it makes it so I can't drive at night, they wouldn't give me an appointment until July 18th! So I'm screwed over past 8 PM for the next three weeks or so. They said to call back on Monday because they might be able to put me in early as a favor.. You'd think that since this is urgent they'd give me an earlier appointment, but... whatever.

Why don't you call Concord Motorsport as they have a GT1 as well and should be able whatever needs to be done in "re-programming" your on-board system. Another option would be the former Dreher Holloway BMW dealer (now owned by Ira)

Just a thought,

- Jan

Thanks, Jan! I'm going to Concord Motorsport in a few minutes to make an appointment. When did Ira buy Holloway? I looked on the website and now it's called BMW of Stratham.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

This car is cursed! I took it to Concord Motorsport which is very good independent BMW sales/service place down the road. They've got one of those big expensive BMW computers. They said they couldn't do anything about it. They said there was a problem with the way it was installed. Ughhhhh..... I e-mailed Dave. I hate this!!!!
So either theres something wrong with the way they were installed, or there's something wrong with the lights themselves. But if it was a problem in the light, why would BOTH flicker? Unless they're both problematic lights and thats why they were taken off the original car, but I doubt that cause Dave seems really like an honest guy.
