Ok guys I have been looking at doing this install as a DIY to my own design. I have got a few questions though that have been asked before but I dont think a complete answer was obtained.
First as some will know the 4.6 stock airbox has a few extra items and pipes running to and from it. One is the little plenium system that seems to open and close, see pics that broknlgs24 provided on another thread.
I'm not to worried about this as my install will retail the unit. The next is the pipe that runs to the air pump that is apparantly only on the 4.6
Some mentioned removing this, others said they retained it, but it should be filtered or sealed. But I was looking at my stock airbox and this pipe is not sealed on it, although it is filtered as its attached to the lid of the airbox and not to the bottom. So can someone with a 4.6 and CAI system tell me what they did??
