gauge rings gone bad

So the gauge rings I bought off of ebay came today - overall they looked pretty nice, so I decided to try installing them

1. disconnected the battery
2. Removed the gauge
3. Opened the cluser - broke one of the x tabs but other than that it opened right up..

Tried installing he rings and the things are to small and wont snap into place. I was going to try gluing or using 2 sided tape but figured in the long run, I would rather have the correct rings.

Where did people get theirs? Any links would be greatly appreciated

A lot of members, including myself, got them from Bavarian Motorwerks on ebay. However, I'm not sure if they are still selling them on ebay.

I had a similar problem with one of the rings being a little bit too small. I decided to glue it on. That was almost 2 years ago and it never moved.

These are the gauge rings that you need, and that Michelle mentions above. These are the ONLY rings that I am aware of that are a simple "snap-in" installation. I have them as well.
